‘Pack has proof that Indian aircraft’

Lahore:

Federal Minister of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has repeated that Pakistan abolished six Indian fighter jets during the four-day conflict between the two nuclear armed neighbors in May this year and that the country had documentary evidence in the form of videos to substantiate its claim.

“We lowered six Indian aircraft with video visions available,” Naqvi said on Sunday, talking about a seminar in Punjab’s provincial capital.

India launched a series of attacks in Pakistan on May 7, what it claimed was a response to the militant attack on tourists in the Pahagam area of Kashmir on April 22. Pakistan reciprocated to the attacks on May 10, which received a ceasefire announced by US President Donald Trump on the same day.

According to Naqvi, the war effort against Pakistan was not led by Prime Minister Modi, but by Amit Shah and Ajit Doval, who act as home minister and national security adviser in Modi’s cabinet respectively.

Interior Minister claimed that the Indian Navy, Army and Air Force had no overall plan.

He said that Pakistan’s intelligence institutions had access to India’s every movement. “If you are determined with strong faith, the Almighty not only helps, but also does Victory Destiny,” he said.

The Minister also claimed that Pakistan received divine help during the conflict.

“India fired seven missiles on Nur Khan Airbase, but no one caused injuries – they landed neither outside the base nor anywhere else. In return, Pakistan 36 Indian positions targeted.”

The Minister of the Interior added that Pakistan’s political parties during the war were united, with PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and played an important role in diplomacy.

He claimed that India openly sponsors terrorism in Balochistan. Naqvi emphasized that Pakistan will continue to pursue the Kashmir case until Kashmiris gets their right to self-determination.

“The credit for Pakistan’s fixed response goes to Field Marskalk Syed Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who endured the pressure and gave India a suitable answer,” he added.

Last week, Indian air manager Marshal Amar Preet Singh claimed that the Indian Air Force (IAF) had also shot five Pakistani fighter jets and a large aircraft during Operation Sindoor in early May.

Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif had immediately rejected the claims of the IAF chief and called them “as impossible as they are poorly timed”. In a statement sent on the microbloging site “X,” Asif said it was “ironic” that senior Indian military officers were made to the front “A monumental failure caused by the strategic short -sightedness of Indian politicians”.

He said for three months after surgery that no such claims were made, while Pakistan had immediately given “detailed technical briefings” to the international media.
