“Man, I’m excited because of course they are the real heroes,” Jacobs said. “My grandfather served in the Air Force, and my uncle actually served in the Marines. So to me it is definitely closer to the home. To be able to sit down, talk to him, choose his brain a little, tell him that I value his service and Similar things are definitely huge to me.
“I think it’s amazing that we highlight him and what he has done and let him celebrate this with us.”

Jacobs meets Bennett and many other military guests in USA’s Honer of the Service Lounge during the Super Bowl experience as one of several NFL stars collaborated with veteran service organizations down in New Orleans.
Being the league’s “Honor of Service” partner, usaa honors military communities across the country during the NFL season, which includes hosting military members, veterans, their families and more at events such as Super Bowl.
The NFL Boot Camps has also been a fun way for those in the military community to get involved and interact with players like Jacobs, while also experiencing some of the best that the league has to offer on the Super Bowl, Pro Bowl, NFL draft and more.

The effect of honoring our military is the reason why Jacobs loves moments that he wants with Bennett on Friday prior to the big game.
“With USAA and Marine Corps it has been really big for me. It’s closer to home for me. But not only that of being able to give back even if it is the least or to shine light over the right heroes, I try to do it as much as I can.
