Padma Lakshmi is the recent celebrity to try TikTok’s “Suspect Challenge”.
The Taste the nation host, 54, shared her attempt at the popular trend via an Instagram Reel over the weekend, which also featured her daughter Krishna, 14.
“I’ve never been one to jump on a trend, fashion or otherwise. That’s why I rarely do these TikTok trends, but this one was really fun to film with Littlehands,” Padma wrote in her caption, lovingly calling her daughter by her nickname .
“I can’t believe she scolded me for laughing so hard I peed a little,” she continued. “It happens sometimes, don’t judge!! It will happen to you too one day if you are lucky enough to laugh so much with your kids!”
The model also changed her pants to continue filming more footage with her teenage daughter, which her daughter teases her about at the end of the video, where Padma could be seen working in the kitchen after an outfit change.
“Suspect had to change her pants because she peed,” to which the mother-of-one replied: “So?”
Elsewhere in the video, Krishna joked, “Suspect says she only smokes weed for her back,” as Padma ran past the camera, but stopped when she burst into laughter, before adding, “and to fall asleep.”
Meanwhile, Padmi toasted her daughter by saying, “Suspect thinks I love her more than the dog,” and also joked about her daughter’s messy bedroom.
“Sorry I’m late. Sorry I’m late to the trend,” Padma said later in the video.
Padma welcomed Krishna in February 2010 with her then-partner Adam Dell, 55.
