A high -level defense delegation led by Major General Burkhonov Akhmad Jamalovich, Deputy Minister of Defense and Commander of the Air Defense Forces and Air Force for the Republic of Uzbekistan called air manager Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, chief of the air staff, Pakistan Air Force in the Air Force, Islamabad.
Cases relating to mutual interest, ways to improve bilateral military cooperation, joint education and technological cooperation in the aviation domains were discussed during the meeting.

During the meeting, the head of the air staff highlighted the robust bilateral military ties between the two fraternal countries and assured that the PAF is obliged to extend full support to the basic tactical training for pilots as well as technical training of maintenance herds for capacity building of staff at Uzbekistan Air Force.
The air manager also said that both Pakistan and Uzbekistan enjoy long -term religious and cultural ties based on convergence on all important issues related to regional peace and security.
