Pakistan’s armed forces carried out targeted strikes in response to unprovoked Indian aggression along the control line (LOC) and destroyed several Indian positions, including an important military post and a battalion headquarters, according to security sources.

In the Hajipir sector, the Pakistani army retired after Indian forces initiated arbitrary firing and destroyed “Jhanda Ziyarat”. “The destruction of the Jhanda Ziyarat post caused significant losses to the enemy,” said security sources, noting that the action was part of a measured and effective reaction to ongoing provocations.

Based on this response, the Pakistani Army also hit an Indian battalion headquarters located in Nanga Thanks in Occupy Kashmir, which caused significant damage and loss, reported state broadcasts PTV, quoting security sources.

In a statement sent on X, PTV confirmed that Nanga Thanks headquarters was damaged as a direct reaction to Indian military firing. Broadcaster quoted officials as saying that the answer was calibrated to neutralize hostile infrastructure used to facilitate ceasefire violations.

Security sources added that Pakistan has previously destroyed several Indian military installations in similar retaliatory operations, emphasizing its commitment to protecting territorial sovereignty and deterring further escalation.

“Pakistan’s armed forces are still vigilant and fully prepared to defend the nation. Any future aggression will be met with a strong and proportionate reaction,” added security sources.

Meanwhile, Minister of Information Attaullah Tarar has denied that Pakistan launched attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Pakistan has not targeted any placements in Indian illegally occupied Jammu & Kashmir or across international border so far. Neither has a loss of PAF have been loss,” Tarar said in a post on X.
