Islamabad:
Staff for Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on Thursday rejected the notion that the recent military conflict between Pakistan and India had some third -party involvement and said it was “unmistakably a bilateral confrontation”.
His remarks came under the CORP Commanders conference held at GHQ in Rawalpindi to review internal security as well as regional developments. The chairman of the meeting referred Field Marshal Asim to the baseless insinuations of the Indian army to offset his extensive defeat.
“Including third parties in what is unmistakably a bilateral military confrontation, reflecting an unpleasant attempt at block policy aimed at faltering India’s self-worthy role as a net security provider to gain in a region that is visibly growing disillated with Indian hegemonic ambitions and Hindutva-driven extremism,”
Deputy Chief of the Indian Army had claimed last week that India was facing a two-front situation referring to China’s role. However, Field Marshal Asim’s statement suggested otherwise.
Pakistan may have close defense cooperation with China, but the authorities said it was Pakistan’s own planning and original technology that helped defeat India and that New Delhi’s efforts to point a finger to China was an attempt to gain sympathy and support from the West.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing in the military, Corps chiefs Fateha offered to the martyrs of recent terrorist attacks from Indian sponsored proxies.

The forum conducted a holistic review of the prevailing internal and external security dynamics with special emphasis on recent development in the Middle East and Iran and growing propensity for “use of power” as a preferred political tool that justified the continuous development of self -help capacities as well as national unity and determination.
The forum was also informed of Pakistan’s ongoing driving with rapid adaptation to developing threat spectrum and changing nature of war. The Army Chief appreciated the management of Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force for further strengthening of TRI services synergy.
In his closing remarks, the army chief expressed full confidence in the operational readiness of the Pakistani army against complete threat spectrum.
