Islamabad:
Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi -Arabia signed the historical strategic mutual defense agreement (SMDA) Wednesday during the visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Riyadh.
Experts in Pakinomist-strategic affairs Opine that Pakistan’s strategic capacity is India-centered and not for the implementation of any religious or ideological goals.
These experts are of the opinion that neither Pakistan nor KSA have any aggressive ambitions against any country; Therefore, any confusion created in this regard is based on assumptions with malicious goals.
The defense systems in Pakistan and KSA are for their people and respective territories, the experts said, adding that people who associate it with recent events do not understand the essence of historical Pak-KSA relationships.
They only try to create anxiety and unjustified speculation, experts said, adding that Pakistan-KSA defense pact is a result of decades of friendship and not because of some recent events or events.
