Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says Pakistan is making quick progress with economic, foreign and military fronts, and now the country will move towards economic growth and improvement.
When he spoke with overseas Pakistanis at Pakistan High Commission in London, Prime Minister Shehbaz said all the results the current government has achieved are the result of sincerity, hard work and team effort, and everyone played their role in achieving the goals.
Prime Minister praised that “Pakistan has gained dignity and respect among the nations committee. He remembered that Pakistan won the war and defeated his enemy and improved respect from the world.”
With reference to his speech at the United Nations General Assembly (Unga), Shehbaz said he represented the people of Pakistan, argued for their cause and reflected their feelings.
He pointed out that in his speech he loudly voted the questions about Kashmir and Palestine. The prime minister noted that the population of Gaza is facing oppression and brutality that was never seen before in the world. PM Shehbaz believes that the meeting between Arab-Islamic countries, President of US President Donald Trump, will produce encouraging results about the issue of Gaza.
PM said he held another constructive and productive meeting with President Trump in Washington in a heartfelt atmosphere. He expressed that the meeting would serve as a springboard against further strengthening the connections with the United States.

He valued overseas Pakistanis and said they are a precious asset, great ambassadors in Pakistan and serve their country with vitality.
When he spoke to the occasion, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that the Prime Minister, during the UN General Assembly Session, effectively represented Pakistan’s attitude towards regional and world issues.
He said eight countries, including five Arab countries, namely Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan and Egypt and three non-Arab Muslim countries, including Pakistan, Turkiye and Indonesia, held the meeting with the US president and discussed the issue of Gaza.

He said after the initial meeting, subsequent meetings would continue and would give a positive result about the issue of Gaza, which would be shared with the nation.
Dar said that financial stability is now achieved; The interest rate is down to 11 percent and inflation fell to five percent from 30 percent. “The government is making an effort to take Pakistan forward.”
Meanwhile, delegations of overseas Pakistanis met with the Prime Minister at Pakistan High Commission. Overseas Pakistanis expressed their appreciation of the Prime Minister’s address at the 80th session in the United Nations General Assembly and paid tribute to him for presenting Pakistan’s point of view.
They said the Kashmir question was highlighted at the global level because of the way the prime minister raised the case in the United Nations General Assembly.
