Pakistan always prioritizes peace rather than war: DG ISPR

The General President General Ahmed Sharif, Director-General of Public Relations Inter-Services (DG ISPR), stated that success in Operation Bunyanum Marsoos marks a victory for peace, emphasizes that Pakistan has always prioritized peace over war.

DG ISPR held a special session with students from the Saylani IT program in Karachi, where he was warmly welcomed by the participants.

During the session, students asked different questions related to Pakistan’s internal and external security situation.

DG ISPR recognized the students’ role as front line strength in the information war and said that Pakistan’s armed forces are disciplined and professional and perform their duties diligently under the constitution and state orders.

The spokesman in the Pakistani army added that Pakistan will continue to act as a net stabilizer in the region.

Students expressed their readiness to sacrifice overly the protection of their homeland and confirm that regardless of the front, they are firmly behind the Pakistani army they consider the identity and strength of the nation.

The session ended with students appreciating the interaction and expressing hope of more such engagements in the future. Pakistan “always lives on,” they declared.

Yesterday, DG ISPR, students at Jinnah University for Women in Karachi, approached and praised their role in Operation Bunyanum Marsoos during the recent conflict with India.

In its address, DG ISPR emphasized how the nation, especially students, played an important role in settling India’s strategic assumptions.

He confirmed Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to its territories, called Kashmir “Jugular Vein” in Pakistan and emphasized the deep religious, cultural and traditional bonds that bind Balochistan’s population to the country.

General Ecillion Sharif Chaudhry also assured that no external strength, including a small number of militants from India, could harm Pakistan’s relationship with Balochistan.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump met Washington with Pakistan’s chief of staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, in the White House.

The two leaders discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in trade, artificial intelligence, energy, cryptocurrency and new technologies, according to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

They also exchanged views on regional security issues, including terrorism, the recent truce between Pakistan and India and escalating tensions in the Middle East.

President Trump was accompanied by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the US special representative of Middle Eastern affairs Steve Witkoff. Field Marshal Munir, together with Pakistan’s national security adviser.
