In the midst of ongoing tensions between the nuclear armed erkerivals over the deadly Pahagam attack, Pakistan provided a robust response to India’s unprovoked truce along the control line (LOC), military sources said Wednesday.

Pakistani security forces destroyed an Indian checkpost after aggression on the evening of 29-30. April.

According to security officials, Indian troops violated the ceasefire agreement by resorting to unprovoked small arms fire in the Kiani and Mandal sectors. The Pakistani army retaliated with precision and neutralized the threat and sound -absorbing Indian forces.

Security sources reported that Pakistan’s retaliatory attack effectively destroyed several enemy bunkers, including the Chakputra position in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

The quick and measured action demonstrated Pakistan’s operational readiness in the light of aggression.

Previously, India evacuated border areas in IIOJK in the midst of escalating tensions while maintaining its oppressive crash at Kashmiri -Muslims. Security sources warned that such provocative actions reveal the New Delhi’s destabilizing war-hitting attitude.

Pakistani Army remains fully prepared to defend the sovereignty and integrity of the country at any time, according to security sources

The two nuclear armed neighbors are experiencing a period of increased tensions since the attack on April 22 on tourists in the scenic city of IIOJK, where at least 26 people were killed.

New Delhi connected Islamabad to the attack without giving evidence and taking a flurry of punitive measures to downgrade ties, including suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, recall of Pakistanis and close Wagah-Attari border transition among others.

In response, Islamabad ordered the deportation of Indian diplomats and military advisers, canceled Visa for Indian citizens, with the exception of the Sikh pilgrims and closure of the main limit transition on its part.

Pakistan also denies his commitment to the attack and offered to participate in a credible and transparent investigation.
