The Pakistani Army and People’s Liberation Army (PLA) in China are real brothers in weapons, said Field Marshal Chief of Army Staff (Coas) Asim Munir on Friday, addressing a ceramoni held in General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi to commemorate the PLAS 98 -year anniversary.
FM Munir confirmed commitment to the sustained partnership between the two countries and its key role in promoting regional stability and protecting shared strategic interest.
The Chinese ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong was the main guest at the event. Major General Wang Zhong, Defense Attaché, officials of the Chinese Embassy and High-ranking Officers from Pakistan’s Tri-Services also participated in
Beljom the Chinese guests, congratulated FM Munir Pla with his basic anniversary and paid tribute to his contribution to China’s defense, security and nation-building.
He described Pakistan-China bands as “unique, time-tested and unusually resistant” in the midst of developing global and regional dynamics, emphasizing that the strategic partnership between the two countries reflected mutual trust, unhealthy support and shared commitment.
The Chinese ambassador thanked the COAs for hosting the memorial and recognizing the role of Pakistan’s armed forces in combating combating combating combat. He repeated China’s continued support for its strategic partnership with Pakistan.
