Separately, Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan also called on Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf at the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad. On his arrival, the visiting dignitary was received by the Navy Commander.

According to the ISPR, the discussions focused on “issues of mutual professional interest, the evolving regional security paradigm and opportunities to further strengthen bilateral defense cooperation”.

Admiral Naveed Ashraf highlighted Pakistan Navy’s commitment to regional maritime peace and stability through its various initiatives. The Bangladesh Air Chief acknowledged the high professional standards of the Pakistan Navy and expressed his desire to strengthen cooperation between the armed forces of the two brotherly nations.

“The senior officials agreed on the importance of increasing the frequency of high-level exchanges and joint training exercises to promote greater synergy,” the statement said.

The ISPR said the visit by the Bangladesh Air Force chief underscored the deepening defense ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh following Admiral Naveed Ashraf’s visit to Dhaka in late 2025.
