Islamabad:
Pakistan and China confirmed their “Ironclad” friendship and strategic cooperative partnerships throughout the weather as Chief of Army Staff (Coas) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir completed a number of high -level meetings with Chinese political and military leadership in Beijing on Friday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the visit emphasized the growing depth of political-military ties between the two nations and their joint decision to promote regional peace and stability.
During his meetings with Chinese Vice President Han Zheng and Foreign Minister Wang Yi focused discussions on the evolving regional and global political landscape, links under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the need for coordinated reactions to common geopolitical challenges.
Both sides expressed satisfaction over the depth of bilateral commitment and repeated their commitment to superb equality, multilateral cooperation and long -term regional stability.
The Chinese leadership paid tribute to Pakistan armed forces as “a cornerstone of resilience” and a “vital contributor to peace in South Asia.”

On the military side, Field Marshal Asim Munir met General Zhang Youxia, Vice -President of the Central Military Commission (CMC), General Chen Hui, political commissioner for the PLA army and General Bill Cai Zhai Jun, chief of staff for the PLA army. The COAs were presented with an honorary guard in the PLA army’s headquarters, symbolizing the long -standing camera between the two armed forces.
The obligations contained detailed exchanges on defense and security cooperation, including cooperation on combating terrorism, joint education, defense modernization and improving institutional relations. Emphasis was placed on improving operational interoperability and strategic coordination to counter hybrid and transnational threats.
The Chinese military leadership expressed full confidence in the strength of the bilateral defense partnership and recognized Pakistan’s central role in promoting regional peace.
Field Marshal Asim Munir appreciated China’s consistent support and confirmed Pakistan’s obligation to further expand military-to-military cooperation across all domains.
Meanwhile, according to the Chinese state news agency, Vice President Han, according to Chinese state news agency, paid tribute to China and Pakistan as “Ironclad Friends and Strategic Cooperative Partners”, adding that the bilateral relationship is marked by “mutual trust at high level, solidarity through challenges and a shared future.”
He said China is willing to work with Pakistan to implement the consensus that the leaders of the two countries have reached, the friendship of the entire weather elaborates, expanding all-round collaboration and speeding up the building “a closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era.”
Field Marshal Asim Munir noted that the development of friendly cooperation with China is consensus for the entire Pakistani community. He said Pakistan supports China’s three global initiatives and “Standing with China.”
The military, Munir said, is ready to further implement leaders’ consensus and continuously elaborates on the strategic cooperative partnership throughout the weather between Pakistan and China.
