Pakistan has heavily condemned Israel’s continued aggression and atrocities of occupied Palestinian territories, especially in Gaza, stating that the latest military acts constitute war crimes under international law.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Office on Thursday, Islamabad criticized Israel’s “arbitrary violence” as it said had killed thousands of Palestinians, including women, children, medical staff and humanitarian workers.

The statement also condemned Israel’s recent military push to seize new areas, including the illegal acquisition of the Morag Corridor.

It said the conscious target of a UN-driven clinic in Jabalia-How over 700 displaced civilians had sought refuge an obvious violation of international humanitarian law.

The Pakistani Government expressed serious concern over the storm of al-Aqsa mosque pitch of Israeli forces under Eid-Ul-Fitr and called it a sacred act and a deliberate provocation.

“These actions combined with Israel’s clear intention to ethnically clean Palestinians from their homeland constitute war crimes,” said the Foreign Office.

The statement also criticized the destruction of civil infrastructure and the forced displacement of hundreds of thousands of people and called such acts “morally reprehensible and legally unjustifiable.”

Pakistan confirmed his support for the Palestinian right to self-determination and repeated his call to an independent and coherent Palestinian state based on borders before 1967, with al-QD’s al-Sharif as its capital.

Islamabad called on the international community to act resolutely to prevent further loss of life and protect religious places.
