Pakistan’s youth network team continued their dominant race at the Asian Youth Netball Championship 2025, crushing hosts South Korea 91-6 on Sunday to secure their third win in a row and Top Pool B position.
The green shirts dominated from the start, led 23-2 in the first quarter and stretch the margin to 45-3 at half time. In the third quarter, the score line read 70-4 before Pakistan wrapped the match of 91-6.
Excellent performances came from Leya Raza Shah, Alisha Naveed, Haleema, Sarina Hussain, Jasmine Farooq, Farah Rasheed, Amani, Parisa, Sumayya Ahmed and Alina, all of whom contributed to the emphatic victory.
Pakistan had previously defeated Saudi Arabia 71-15 on Friday and Chinese Taipei 56-32 Saturday. The team is now facing Japan on Monday and the Maldives on Tuesday.
Pakistan Netball Federation expanded thanks to head coach Amanda Newton, who praised her “extraordinary coaching, technical expertise and unshakable dedication” through a social media post and noticed her role in the team’s ongoing success.
The championship, held at Jeonju Hwasan Gymnasium from June 27 to July 4, contains 11 nations divided into two groups.
Eleven teams participate in the championship and are divided into two groups.
Group A: Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and India
Group B: Chinese Taipei, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Maldives and Saudi Arabia.
