Pakistan decided to eradicate scourge of terrorism, says Prime Minister Shehbaz

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Thursday expressed the decision to eradicate scourge of terrorism from the country.

While he was chairman of a review of the Governing Committee on Terrorism and the establishment of the State (hardened the State), he said, “The state of Pakistan is determined to eradicate terrorism and the world recognizes our successful operations against terrorists.”

The state of Pakistan has adopted a multiformed strategy in the war on terrorism, he said, adding: “Pakistan has made full and effective use of important elements such as soil operations, relevant legislation, meaningful public communication and discouragement of extremist thinking.”

The Committee instructed effective coordination between the federal and provincial governments against terrorism and strict implementation of its recommendations in this regard.

“The role of the brave sons of the armed forces in this war on terrorism is commendable and commendable,” he noted.

He said, “The whole nation, including me, is proud of the officers and officials who laid their lives for the country and their families that were steeped in the spirit of victims.”

“The entire Pakistani nation, the brave forces, law enforcement and intelligence agencies are united and focused in the war against terrorism,” he added.

The Prime Minister said: “Pakistan’s brave forces fought for the terrorists strongly in Operation Radd-Ul-Fasaad and Zarb-e-Azb, and the world recognized Pakistan’s victory in the recent historic Marka-E-Haq.”

He acknowledged that the provincial governments, the intelligence agency, the Ministry of the Interior, the terrorist department, especially the Punjab terrorist department, had taken very effective steps in this war against terrorism.

“Pakistan is working on a comprehensive, effective and useful strategy to completely eliminate Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna Al-Khawarij and other such antisocial elements,” he emphasized.

He said: “With the common strategy and collaboration for all relevant institutions, effective operations were performed against smuggling, which made it possible to prevent threat.”

“Prevention of smuggling has had a positive impact on the economy,” he noted.

“Only a peaceful and strong state structure that is free of terrorism restores investors ‘confidence at the international level,” he said, adding, “The government has led to revolutionary changes such as digitization of all systems and improving the tax system to restore investors’ confidence at the international level.”

He said: “Record increase in Pakistan -the exchange and improvement of global ratings indicates the stability of the Pakistan’s economy, and this will restore foreign investors’ confidence.”

“The implementation of the repatriation program for Afghan citizens residing in Pakistan in accordance with international laws continues effectively,” he observed.
