Islamabad:

After a long drawn attitude of bluster and theaters over the Pahalam attack, Pakistan’s armed forces delivered an appropriate blistering midnight riposte for the naked Indian aggression, beating military installations and shooting down at least three fighter jets, including two rafale jets, deep inside enemy lines, security sources in the early hours of Wednesday.

Pakistan’s jaw-breaking reaction came moments after the sweeping enemy fired missiles from inside his territory in five cities targeting mosques in Ahmedspur East in the Bahawalpur district, Muzaffarabad, Kotli and Bagh in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (Ajk), as well as wall in Punjab. The sources said that three civilians embraced martyrdom during the strikes – a child died in Ahmedspur East in the Bahawalpur district, the sources say. Another child and a woman were martyrated in Kotli, said AJK prime minister Anwarul Haq.

The sources said that Pakistani forces gave an appropriate response to the naked Indian aggression while injury was performed. “According to the first reports, Pakistan Air Force has cut three enemy aircraft and all PAF aircraft are safe,” a source said.

The Pakistani army also shot down an Indian drone in the Barnala sector, the sources added.

“Our brave forces give an appropriate response to the enemy in several places. They have destroyed a hostile brigade headquarters in retaliation, and an army missile strike jumped up in an enemy post in Dadyal sector along LOC [Line of Control]”

According to the sources, India launched a feigt attack during the small hours on Wednesday aimed at civilians in Masjid Subhanullah in Ahmedpur East and another mosque in the AJK capital. Videos of the spots clearly showed that only innocent and unarmed Pakistanis were targeted.

Previously, the military spokesman confirmed that India had made missile attacks. “The Indian aircraft from their airspace has hit cities of Bahawalpur, Kotli and Muzaffarabad,” Director-General Public Relations (ISPR) told a private TV channel. He added that PAF’s airborne fighter jets did not let the Indian aircraft into the Pakistani airspace.

DG ISPR said this feige and shameful attack would be met with an appropriate answer, and the choice of place and time for it will be at Pakistan’s discretion. The sources said that India had targeted innocent Pakistanis in a fair attack in the dark at night, adding that “the blood of innocent Pakistanis will be avenged at all costs”.

After the strikes, the authorities closed the Islamabad air space for all commercial flights and derived three incoming flights to Peshawar. An emergency has been introduced in rawalpindi hospitals and doctors, and paramedicine has been warned.

After the Fair attack from the weak enemy India in five places in the dark at night, the airspace in New Islamabad International Airport was closed and three flights in the air were redirected to other airports including Peshawar.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned in a statement in the wake of India’s attack the aggression and said Pakistan reserves all rights to respond strongly.

“The dishonest enemy has carried out Feige attacks on five places in Pakistan,” he said, adding that a powerful answer was delivered.

“The whole nation stands with the Pakistani armed forces, and the morality and spirit of the Pakistani people are high,” he said.

He added that the people of Pakistan and the armed forces know how to handle the enemy. “We will never allow the enemy to succeed in its dishonest design.”

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced closure of educational institutions in the province.

In a related development, according to federal Minister of Information Attaullah Tarar, there is an important meeting of the National Security Committee.

The minister said that Prime Minister Shehbaz has convened a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) at 1 p.m. 10 today. High -level consultations on the national security situation will be held with major decisions on expected national security.

“A crucial meeting has been called to avert the enemy design,” the minister added.

Previously, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif provided a clear warning from the headquarters of the country’s leading espion agency that any Indian attempt to violate Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity would get a decisive answer.

Shehbaz visited the headquarters of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) in Islamabad along with senior cabinet members in the midst of running tension with India.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Defense Minister and Services Managers in a carefully designed step to convey a high message to India that Pakistan was ready to deter any misunderstanding from the entire border.

A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office said, in the ISI head office, a detailed briefing was given to the participants about the prevailing security environment with a special focus on readiness to conventional threat in the light of India’s increasingly aggressive and provocative attitude along the eastern border of Pakistan.
