Pakistan Downs 12 Indian drones across multiple places: DG ISPR

Director-General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry confirmed on Thursday that Pakistan’s armed forces captured and neutralized 12 Indian drones in several places.

During a media briefing, the military spokesman said that Indian drones on May 7 and 8 tried the penetration of different parts of the country.

The drones were successfully neutralized in Lahore, Gujranwala, Chakwal, Bahawalpur, Mianwali, Karachi, Chhor and Attock, according to ISPR.

The military spokesman referred to the trials as a continued pattern of aggression and confirmed that Pakistan’s forces remain on high alarm to defend the country’s airspace and territorial integrity.

Four staff in the Pakistani army were wounded in a drone attack in Lahore, while a civilian lost their lives in Miano, Sindh, he said.
