Islamabad:
Pakistan has expanded his air space ban on Indian flights until June 24, Pakistan Airport’s Authority (on) confirmed Friday.
The prohibition initially imposed on April 24 remains in force until 1 p.m. 04.59 on June 24 and applies to all aircraft registered in India, as well as those operated, owned or rented by Indian airlines and operators, including military flights.
The declaration also clarified that no flight operated by Indian Airlines or aviation operators is authorized to enter or transit through Pakistani airspace during this period.
Indian carriers have been forced to redirect international aircraft, resulting in longer travel times and higher operating costs. Some flights have been delayed, re -planned or canceled with passengers facing disruptions and increased prices.
On the assured that the situation will be closely monitored and the restrictions will remain in place so far, in the midst of rising diplomatic and military tensions between the two countries.
