The committee also decided to convene another meeting on the Afghanistan question.
Meanwhile, the Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi expressed at a meeting with Pakistan’s Chargé d’Affaires Ubaid-Ur-Rehman Nizamani in Kabul’s regret over “forced deportation of Afghan refugees and the unpleasant treatment of certain quarters”.
He described the current abuse as provocative and harmful to the relationship between the two countries and called for an end to such acts, according to the declaration of the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the Afghan spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Hafiz Zia Ahmad, the Pakistani diplomat said he understands the concerns of the Islamic Emirate and will share the case with the relevant authorities.
The statement also mentioned that extensive discussions were held on political and economic affairs between Afghanistan and Pakistan. Both sides emphasized the need for effective mutual measures and the exchange of high -level delegations.
Pakistan began deporting undocumented Afghans in October 2023. In the second phase, however, the authorities are those who hold Afghan Citizen Card. Islamabad has defended the move and states that it cannot host them indefinitely.
