With a weekly press briefing, spokesman for the Foreign Office Shafqat Ali Khan said the government collected information on reports of Pakistanis visiting Israel.

He added that any comment on the situation would be made when details were confirmed.

He also commented on Afghanistan’s Chargé d’Affaires, which was recently summoned, and clarified that such diplomatic engagements were routine.

With regard to border control, Khan confirmed that Pakistan’s deadline for Afghan refugee refreshing remained unchanged. He added that the Torkham border had been opened again and would remain operational until April 15, with a long-term decision during discussion.

About human smuggling of concerns, the spokesman denied any involvement of the foreign office’s officials and added that a fact committee had been set up to investigate related demands on social media.

Meanwhile, he confirmed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s official visit to Saudi -Arabia, where he met Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and expressed gratitude for the kingdom’s continued support.

Khan also criticized India’s silence over the recent attack on Jaffer Express train in Pakistan and said New Delhi’s commitment to cross-border terrorism was clear.
