Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has confirmed that both Pakistan and India have accepted an immediate ceasefire as the two nuclear armed neighbors came dangerously close to catastrophic conflict after series of escalating events pushing the region to the war’s rink.
The situation escalated further between Pakistan and India last night as India performed air strikes on three Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Bases: Nur Khan, Murid and Shorkot. In response, Pakistan launched the military operation of a retirement named ‘Bunyan-Un-Marsoos’ against the ongoing Indian aggression.

Pakistan deployed his al-Fatah missile and targeted several Indian military installations and airbases used to launch attacks on Pakistan. India’s Akhnoor Aviation Base, Bathinda Airfield and Sirsa Airfield were allegedly destroyed.
In addition, Pakistan destroyed a Brahmos missil storage site in the BEAS area, while Pakistan Air Force’s JF-17 Thunder Jets removed India’s S-400 air defense system stationed in Adampur using hypersonic missiles.
Talking to Express news In an exclusive interview, Prime Minister Sharif said he would soon turn to the nation to give all the details of the deal.
“I want to share all the details of my address to the nation,” said Prime Minister Shehbaz.
When asked what conditions were agreed with India, the Prime Minister replied: “There will be meetings in the future where all such questions will be addressed to avoid complications.”
Whether it has been ensured that India will not perform similar actions again, PM replied: “All questions will be discussed at these meetings.”

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar also confirmed the development and said both countries had reached an understanding of stopping hostilities.
“Pakistan and India agree to a ceasefire with immediate effect. Pakistan has always strived for peace and security in the region without compromising its sovereignty and territorial integrity,” tweeted Dar.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has also said that India and Pakistan have accepted a “full and immediate ceasefire” after both nations exchanged military strikes in recent days.
Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri later also confirmed that an immediate ceasefire agreement had reached Pakistan suspending all military operations on land, in the air and at sea
Misri said a press briefing in New Delhi said the decision was the result of sustained diplomatic commitment and reflects a mutual desire to prevent further escalation.
“The Government of India confirms that all military activity with Pakistan has been suspended with immediate effect across all domains,” he said.

Tensions between India and Pakistan escalated after the Pahagam event in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), who left 26 people died. India accused Pakistan-based items without providing evidence.
However, Islamabad not only rejected the allegations, but also offered an investigation at the international level to investigate the matter. In an aggressive move, India announced the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty.
On May 6 to 7, India completed 24 air strikes in six different locations within the Pakistani territory, resulting in the martyrdom of at least 31 civilians and injuries to 71 others.

In response to the unprovoked aggression and violations of the airspace, the Pakistani army shot five Indian fighter jets and a fighting drone.
According to a military spokesman, the aircraft included three Rafale jet, a MIG-29, an SU series aircraft and an Israeli-made Heron Combat Drone. Jets were set up in several places, including Bathinda, Jammu, Akhnoor, Srinagar and Avantipur.
