Pakistan, KSA Ink $ 121m Offers for Health, Energy Projects

Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Bin said al-Malki on Friday confirmed Riyadh’s unshakable support for Pakistan’s development journey.

By talking at a ceremony that marks the signing of consulting service contracts to support development projects in Pakistan – funded by the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) – Al -malki said that the projects would provide important services, increase economic growth and contribute to Pakistani people’s well -being.

Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) has signed consulting services contracts for three major projects in Pakistan – King Salman Hospital in Tarlai and Shounter and Jagran Vandraft projects in Azad Jammu & Kashmir – with a total financing package worth $ 121 million.

King Salman Hospital will be funded through a $ 20 million subsidy from the Kingdom of Saudi -Arabia, while Shounter and Jagran Hydroelectric projects will receive concession loans of $ 66 million and $ 35 million respectively.
