Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared that Pakistan had taught India a “lesson it will remember for life” during Marka-E-Haq when he turned to UK-based Pakistani journalists in London.
Marka-E-Haq refers to Pakistan’s military operation, officially named Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, launched in May 2025 in response to Indian aggression. It ended with what was described as a “decisive victory for Pakistan” as the armed forces waived opponents with discipline and strategic clarity.
The government paid tribute to it as a “magnificent success” and later declared May 10 to be observed annually as a YouM-E-Marka-E-Haq to honor the performance and victims of the armed forces during the conflict.
