Pakistan Navy Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf emphasized the importance of operational emergency preparedness as the key to success in modern warfare during a speech at Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Air War College Institute in Karachi Monday, Radio Pakistan reported.
Admiral Ashraf approached participants as a main guest, Admiral Ashraf highlighted the importance of constant emergency preparedness and strategic foresight with reference to the recent development along the eastern front as a critical example.
He also praised the leadership of air manager Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu and praised Pakistan Air Force’s efforts to modernize and quickly integrate advanced technologies. These measures, he said, have improved the operational emergency preparedness of the air defense to a large extent and reshape the region’s deterrence strategy.

He added, “Pakistan Navy’s combat capabilities have undergone significant improvement across all operational domains, including surface, surface and air forces. This transformation has made our maritime power more flexible and potent.”
The Navy Chief emphasized the need for coherent national defense and emphasized the importance of cooperation between service. He revealed plans for more frequent joint operational exercises with PAF aimed at improving synergy and interoperability between the two institutions.
Admiral Ashraf also discussed the central role that technological advances in modern conflicts specifically emphasize the importance of unmanned air systems (UAS).
He announced a strategic collaboration between National Aerospace Science and Technology Park and Pakistan Maritime Science and Technology Park to promote original capabilities in unmanned systems.
This partnership, he said, will strengthen Pakistan’s technological confidence and improve its operational edge in defense.
The Navy chief further praised the Air War College Institute for his academic expertise and recognized his critical role in preparing future military leaders to tackle the complex challenges of modern warning. He was welcomed by President Air War College Institute Air Vice Marshal Rashid Habib upon his arrival.
