Pakistan observes YouM-E-Taskur today, as declared by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in recognition of the armed forces’ response to recent Indian aggression and success with ‘Operation Bunyan-Un-Marsoos’.
A statement from the media wing from the Prime Minister’s office said the operation delivered a strong and coordinated reaction that demonstrated Pakistan’s superiority on all fronts. YouM-E-Taskur ceremonies are in the process of nationwide to offer Allah Almighty, honor the value of military staff and confirms the national unit.
In his statement, the prime minister urged citizens and religious scholars to keep collective Nawafil (volunteer prayers) and special prayer for the martyrs and veterans who participated in the operation.
He emphasized that the nation will never forget the victims of the armed forces and confirmed public solidarity with the military.
Atomic armed Pakistan and India stood on the edge of the full-scale conflict after days of escalating tension-to US President Donald Trump announced that both nations had accepted an “immediate and full ceasefire.”
Soon, Islamabad and the New Delhi confirmed the agreement to immediately stop all military activities.
Tensions between both countries escalated after the April 22 attack in Pahagam, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), killing 26 people. India accused Pakistan-based elements of the assault, but presented no evidence. Islamabad strongly denied the claims.

On April 23, India closed the Wagah boundary transition, recalled Pakistani Visa and announced the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty. Pakistan condemned the move as an “act of war” and responded by sealing the Wagah border on his part.
The confrontation then broke out on May 6 – 7, when India launched his attack on Pakistan, spiraling into the largest military clash between the neighbors for decades. Dozens were killed before the diplomacy was prevalent.
Despite repeated warnings from the Pakistani government, India continued, driven by his media’s war-driven rhetoric, continued provocative actions, including frequent drone penetration, which ultimately caused Pakistan to reciprocate.
