Islamabad:
Pakistan and Oman discussed Thursday to strengthen bilateral maritime cooperation to accelerate the launch of a ferry service, share marine expertise and improve trade in the maritime sector.
Understanding was reached during a high -level meeting between the federal minister of maritime affairs, Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry and the ambassador of Oman in Pakistan, Fahad bin Sulaiman bin Khalaf Al Kharusi.
During the discussion, both parties recognized the deeply rooted diplomatic, cultural and economic relations between Pakistan and Oman. Emphasis was placed on the urgent need to increase maritime trade and connection.
