Pakistan Pas ‘does not allow Israel Visit’

The Foreign Office’s spokesman Shafqat Ali Khan has stated that no visit to Israel was possible under existing rules using Pakistan’s passport which was not valid for the purpose.

The spokesman who responded to media queries said Pakistan’s government had noticed reports of Pakistani journalists traveling to Israel.

“In this regard, it is clarified that Pakistani passport explicitly states that they are” not valid for travel to Israel. “Therefore, no such visit is possible under existing rules,” he explained.

The spokesman said Pakistan’s attitude towards Israel remained unchanged.

Pakistan does not recognize Israel and steadfastly support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state based on borders before 1967, with al-QD’s al-Sharif as its capital, he added.

He also repeated Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to a fair and peaceful solution of the Palestinian issue in accordance with relevant UN decisions and the ambitions of the Palestinian people.
