Pakistan rejects India’s Kashmir -Eagle on the UN, calls for Plebiscite

Pakistan has once again dismissed India’s claim that Jammu and Kashmir are an “integral part” of the country that repeats the region remains disputed and its status is recognized as such by the United Nations and the international community.

“Each official UN card portrays Jammu and Kashmir as disputed territory,” said Yellow Qaiser Sarwani, adviser at Pakistan’s mission to the UN while exercising his right to response at the end of a UN level UN Security Council’s debate on peacekeeping operations.

Sarwani’s response came after Indian Ambassador Parvathaneni Harish repeated New Delhi’s claim that “Kashmir has been, is and will always be an integrated and inalienable part of India.”

The Indian broadcast made the statement in response to a speech by Syed Tariq Fatemi, special assistant to the Prime Minister in Pakistan, who had called on the 15-member advice to make his own decisions that require an unattended plebiscite to determine the future of Jammu and Kashmir.

“No amount of blur can change the legal, political and historical reality-jammu and Kashmir are not and have never been, a so-called ‘integral’ part of India,” Sarwani said.

He described the region as a “disputed territory” whose “final disposition” is to be decided by its people through a plebiscite, as required by several UN -Safety Council resolutions.

Sarwani criticized India’s heavy military presence in the region and said that more than 900,000 troops and paramilitary forces are deployed in what he called “the closest occupation in history.”

He also said that ore than 100,000 kashmiris has been killed since 1989 and highlighted India’s gross violation of human rights with reference to reports registered by the UN.

In response to Indian accusations of cross -border terrorism, the Pakistani diplomat said: “It is most ironic that India commits the worst form of state terrorism in the occupied Jammu and Kashmir, portrays himself as the victim.”

He added that occupants and colonizers often feel legitimate battles for self -determination as terrorism.

Sarwani continued to note that India orchestrated undermining and targeted murder abroad, emphasizing that India Fonde and supporting anti-Pakistan groups, including Tehreek-in-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Baloch Liberation Army (bla) and Majeed Brigade.

Pakistan has consistently maintained that a fair and peaceful solution of the Jammu- and Kashmir -Distvist lies in the implementation of UN decisions and possession of a Plebiscit under the UN Supervisory.

Earlier, on the occasion of Pakistan Day, the illegally detained President of All Party Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Masarrat Aalam Butt, along with other Hurriyat leaders and organizations, has expanded their warm congratulations to the people and the government of Pakistan asking for the nation’s continued progress, stability and prosperity.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Masarrat Aalam Butt expressed in a message from the notorious Tihar prison in New Delhi that Masarrat Aalam Butt became solidarity with the people of Pakistan and described the country as a lighthouse for hope for suppressed Kashmiris and all Muslim Ummah.

He emphasized that Pakistan, founded on a noble ideology, acts as a great blessing for Muslims all over the world.
