Pakistan Snubber Indian Spin On Coas -Notes

Islamabad:

Pakistan strongly rejected the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) declaration on comments attributed to the head of the Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, denoting the “immature” and a distortion of facts.

The Foreign Office said that the Indian tale of alleged “nuclear extortion” was “misleading and self -service” and that Pakistan remained permanent opponents of the use or threat of use of force.

“India’s Sabre-scraping and war mounting every time confronted invites unfounded accusations affected about rationality,” the Fo-spokesman said in a statement.

The spokesman emphasized that Pakistan is a “responsible nuclear weapons state with a detailed command and control structure under full civil control” and has always exercised “discipline and restraint” in matters of such significance.

Fo also rejected what it called “false insinuations” about Pakistan’s terrorist record, and said the country’s “sustained and credible” efforts were internationally recognized and its security forces “remain bulwark against terrorism”.

It expressed concern about the Indian MEA reference to “third countries” and described it as a “meaningless attempt” to involve other states and an indication of India’s “lack of diplomatic trust”.
