Pakistan, Thailand to extend the tape

Islamabad:

DPM/FM senator Ishaq Dar met Wednesday with Thailand Foreign Minister Maris Sangiampongsa on the sidelines for high-level events under Pakistan’s Presidency of the UN Security Council.

The two leaders expressed satisfaction with the positive momentum in bilateral ties, especially in cultural and parliamentary exchanges, people-to-people contacts, trade and tourism, says a DPM Office news announcement.

They agreed to expand cooperation in a number of areas, including food security, fishing, defense and regional connection.

FM Maris congratulated Pakistan with his UNSC presidency and appreciated its contribution to the council’s work.
