The Pakistani Navy and the Turkish Navy have successfully completed their first bilateral amphibious exercise, marking a significant step towards improving maritime cooperation and operational coordination between the two allies.
In a statement from the Directorate General Public Relations (Pak Navy) Wednesday, the exercise was described as a “milestone” in strengthening interoperability and strategic adaptation in the maritime domain.
The joint exercise contained a wide range of training modules, including combat firing techniques, amphibious operations, convoy shipping of exercises and military maneuvers in city terrain.

“Live firing exercises and close fighting scenarios, designed to sharpen tactical coordination and emergency preparedness in littoral environments, were also part of the exercise,” the statement states.
The exercise was completed with a comprehensive amphibious exercise performed in a designated coastal zone for the purpose of validating both the operational emergency preparedness of the navy.
According to Pakistan Navy, the exercise reflected the “deeply rooted defense partnership” between Pakistan and Turkiye and confirmed their “joint commitment to regional peace through regular collaborative education initiatives.”
