Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar held a bilateral meeting with his UAE colleague Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, where they participated in extensive discussions to further strengthen the long -standing bilateral fraternal bond. At the meeting held in Abu Dhabi on invitation from UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, the two sides explored the opportunity to improve bilateral cooperation across key sectors, including trade, investment, energy, defense and people-to-people connections, exploring A press release from the Foreign Office said Saturday. The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and global development of mutual interest and emphasized the importance of promoting peace, stability and shared prosperity. Dar congratulated the UAE leadership with the successful organization of the world governments Summit 2025 in Dubai from 11-13. February 2025 and praised UA’s visionary initiatives to promote global dialogue and cooperation. He confirmed Pakistan’s obligation to elaborate on his multifaceted partnership with UAE and highlighted the pivotal role of Pakistani Diaspora in the UAE and described them as a bridge between the two nations. Senator Dar also expressed gratitude for UA’s consistent support for Pakistan’s financial development and progress. In response, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Uae’s steadfast commitment to strengthen his strategic relationship with Pakistan. He acknowledged Pakistan’s significant contribution to regional stability and expressed the appreciation of the positive role that Pakistani society played in UA’s development. The two leaders agreed to maintain a regular high -level engagement and consultations to further solidify bilateral ties and coordinate on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
