Pakistan, us pushing out customs negotiations forward

As part of the ongoing Pakistan-US discussions on mutual tariffs, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb held a virtual meeting with US Trade Secretary Howard Lutnick to review and promote the negotiations. Both sides agreed to continue their negotiations through constructive commitment to end the trade agreement at the earliest, according to a statement issued on Tuesday. The discussions were centered on meaningful commitment to trade, investment and strengthening financial ties that are mutually advantageous. It was agreed that further technical level, detailed discussions would be held in the coming days.
