Islamabad:
Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar on Saturday received a call from US State Secretary Marco Rubio and discussed questions of mutual interest.
According to the Foreign Office, the two leaders expressed satisfaction over the positive track for Pakistan-US-band and discussed recent regional and international development.
They confirmed their obligation to further strengthen the bilateral connections across multifaceted areas of cooperation.

DPM/FM senator Ishaq Dar on Saturday received a phone call from Egypt’s Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty.
“Both leaders strongly condemned the Israeli unprovoked illegal strikes at Doha and discussed the modalities and details of the upcoming OIC Council for Foreign Ministers in Doha, scheduled for Sunday 14 September,” spokesman for the Foreign Office said in a statement.
Israel targeted Hamas leaders on Tuesday in strikes at Qatari -the capital, killing five Hamas members and a Qatari security officer. The attack drew widespread international condemnation, including from Gulf Monarchie’s ally with the United States.
