Pakistan will never accept India’s Hegemony in the region, says Field Marshal Asim Munir

Chief of Army Staff (Coas) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said on Thursday that Pakistan would never accept India’s Hegemony, adding that water is a “red line” and no one would be allowed to compromise on the basic right of 240 million Pakistanis.

The army boss said this while talking to the principal at various universities, principals and senior educators.

It is noteworthy to mention here that India threatened to block Pakistan’s water after suspending the Indus Waters Treaty in response to last month’s Pahagam attack in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) who left 26 tourists died.

“Educators are the greatest asset in Pakistan. What I am today is because of my parents and teachers. Educators bear the responsibility of building the nature of Pakistan’s future generations. You (teachers) need to pass on Pakistan’s history to the next generations,” he said.

Field Marshal said Pakistan was blessed to get help from Allah Almighty under Marka-E-Haq-with reference to the recent standoff with India. He added that when a nation is united as an iron wall, no force in the world can defeat it.

Pakistan and India fired missiles on each other’s territory for weeks of tension after the deadly attack on tourists in IIOJK that New Delhi is accusing Islamabad without giving evidence.

Pakistan denies involvement and offers to participate in an independent and credible probe.

After India’s unprovoked attacks, Pakistan launched armed forces launched a large-scale military action called “Operation Bunyan-Um-Marosos” and targeted several Indian military strikes across multiple regions.

Pakistan put down his six fighter jets, including three rafale, and dozens of drones. After at least 87 hours, the war between the two nuclear armed nations ended on May 10 after US President Donald Trump’s announcement of a ceasefire.

Field Marshal Munir clarified that Pakistan would never make any compromise with Kashmir -blanket, adding that India must understand that Pakistan will neither forget Kashmir nor give up.

He continued to say that it is no longer possible for India to suppress Kashmir -blanket as it is a global question.

By rejecting Indian claims, Field Marshal said that terrorism is India’s internal issues primarily caused by increased oppression and discrimination of minorities, especially Muslims, in India.

Field Marshal Munir said terrorists in Balochistan were supported by India and they have no connection with Balochs.

The Army Chief called to make Pakistan a strong state where all institutions work under the law and the constitution without political pressure, economic and personal gains and for people’s welfare.

During the session, participants expressed full confidence in Pakistan -armed forces and called them the pride of the country. They also promised to stand next to the armed forces that protect the country from the evil plans of the enemies.
