Leading Pakistani actors Mahira Khan, Hania Aamir and Fawad Khan have heavily condemned India’s recent military aggression, resulting in martyrdom in 26 civilians, including children, and damage to at least 46 others in the night of air knit that targeted several civilian areas over Pakistan.
Mahira Khan repositioned a tweet by author Fatima Bhutto who criticized the Indian attack.
Adding her voice to Instagram called Mahira the strikes “Seriously Feigt” and prayed: “May Allah protect our country, maybe better sense. Ameen.”
Actress Hania Aamir also spoke and said, “You don’t bomb innocent people and call it strategy”, in a sharp reprimand of the Indian strikes.
Fawad Khan also condemned the attack and called it “shameful” in an Instagram story. He added: “Can better sans win. Inshallah. Pakistan Zindabad.”
The backlash from Pakistan’s entertainment industry comes as India tries to justify the attack in the wake of the incident on April 22 in Pahaldam in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), despite having offered no concrete evidence connecting Pakistan to the attack.
Previously, several prominent Pakistani celebrity accounts, including Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan and Ali Zafar, were banned in India.
Meanwhile, DG ISPR said India performed 24 air strikes in six different places within the Pakistani territory.
He said 13 people were martyrated in Bahawalpurs Ahmedspur East area. The deceased included two three -year -old girls, seven women and four men. In addition, 37 individuals were wounded, including nine women and 28 men.
In a separate incident near Muzaffarabad, a strike resulted in Bilal Mosque in three fatalities, while two children – a girl and a boy – were caused by injuries, he added.
