In the midst of India’s tireless provocative measures after his reckless missile attacks on civilian targets in Pakistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Os State Secretary Marco Rubio told that “Pakistan reserves the right to act in self -defense.”

“India’s attack has violated Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity while seriously bringing peace and stability in South Asia,” he added.

PM Shehbaz confirmed Pakistan’s regular decision to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity at all costs. “The population of Pakistan is furious at India’s unprovoked acts of war,” he also said that Pakistan reserves the right to act in self-defense in accordance with article-51 of the UN Charter.

The premiere appreciated US President Donald Trump’s concern about the current security situation in South Asia. Rubio said the United States closely following the situation in South Asia as it is obliged to promote peace and stability in the region.

He also emphasized the need for both Pakistan and India to work closely to deescal the situation. Both sides agreed to remain in contact, according to the PMO declaration.
