Pakistanis can now apply for five-year-old UAE-VISA, says ambassador

Pakistani citizens can now apply for five-year visa to the United Arab Emirates, UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi announced Tuesday during a meeting with Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori.

The announcement was made in the Governor House in Karachi, where the ambassador was together with UAE -General Consul -General Bakheet Ateq Al Remithi.

Al Zaabi also invited the Governor to visit the UAE Visa Center in Karachi and expressed support for the governor’s development initiatives.

As part of the visit, the ambassador participated in a wooden planting drive and participated in a flag-hoisting ceremony. He signed the guestbook and called the event a symbol of lasting friendship between the two nations.

The message follows confirmation from the UAE authorities that there is no visa ban for Pakistani citizens.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UA’s new five -year visa policy requires applicants to submit return tickets, hotel reservations, proof of property ownership whose applicable, and a deposit of AED3,000.

Pakistani applicants have been subject to control in recent years due to concerns about false documents, Visa overruns and inappropriate use of social media.

The Pakistani Embassy in Abu Dhabi has taken up these questions with the UAE authorities.
