The National Assembly Session revealed that some Pakistani citizens have submitted false degrees, diplomas and job contracts to get Visa for the United Arab Emirates (UAE), reported Express News.
The session, led by President of President Abdul Qadir Patel, discussed the growing concerns about the limited issue of UAE visa for Pakistani citizens. During the question, it was revealed that several people had submitted forged documents in their visa applications.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that some Pakistani workers had exceeded their visas, while others had been involved in political and criminal activities. In addition, some individuals were found to abuse social media platforms, which contributed to the stricter control and imposed restrictions.
In response, Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar said in a written response that the UAE authorities had informed Pakistan that there were no formal visa restrictions for Pakistani citizens. He added that UAE had introduced a five-year visa scheme that requires applicants to provide tickets for a trip, hotel bookings, proof of property ownership and a prepayment of 3,000 Dirhams.
This reveal highlights growing concern about false activities in visa applications and the subsequent influence on the issuance of UAE -Visa for Pakistani citizens.
