Islamabad:
According to the Ministry of Finance, formal negotiations have begun between Pakistan and the United States on mutual customs issues.
A video conference was held between federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and US Trade Representative Ambassador Jamieson Greer, where both parties exchanged their views in a constructive environment.
Both sides agreed to hold detailed discussions at the technical level in the coming weeks and expressed a firm obligation to end the conversations successfully as soon as possible.
