DUBAI: Pakistan’s exports to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) witnessed a growth of 28% over the current financial year and reached $ 1.2 billion between July 2024 and February 2025.

This message was made by Ali Zaib, Pakistan’s commercial and trade adviser in Dubai, while spoken to a Suhoor collection organized by the Pakistan Consulate and Pakistani Business Council.

ZAIB emphasized that this significant increase reflects Pakistan’s efforts to strengthen trading tapes with UAE, with export quantities that surpass last year’s numbers with a remarkable margin.

The Suhoor collection held at the Pakistan Association Dubai aimed to invite foreign diplomats and business councils registered in the Dubai Chamber of Commerce to participate in the upcoming Pakistan fair. The event tried to show Pakistan’s trade potential and attract investments from international companies.

Hussain Mohammed, Pakistan’s Consul General in Dubai, reassured foreign delegates for complete cooperation for investors interested in exploring opportunities in Pakistan.

He emphasized the government’s obligation to facilitate business partnerships and promote financial cooperation.

Shabbir Merchant, president of Pakistan Business Council in Dubai, announced that a delegation of foreign investors from Dubai will participate in the Mega Trade Show planned in Lahore.

He said the event would provide an ideal platform to explore investment opportunities in different sectors of Pakistan’s economy.

The fourth edition of Health, Engineering and Minerals (HEM) Show 2025 takes place in Lahore from April 17 to 19, 2025.

The event will focus on showing Pakistan’s abilities in these key sectors, providing a platform for domestic and international companies to connect and cooperate.
