Lahore:
Pakistan Railways has notified a study committee to investigate the collapse of a passenger bridge at Khanewal Station.
The committee consists of Railways Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Inspector General for Police (IG) and Deputy General Superintendent of Police (DSP) Lahore.
The committee is tasked with solving the responsibility for the incident and presenting its recommendations.
It will be the summit its report to the ministry in 10 days.
Minister of Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi said the investigation will not be an eye washing, but that those responsible for the incident will be taken to the task.
