Islamabad:
The country’s newly created cybercrime watchdog has set up a special committee to secure monitoring of social media platforms to suppress hate numbers and sectarian content in the Holy Month Muharram.
On the instruction of the country’s top security Czar, Mohsin Naqvi, Director General of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has an 18-member committee.
According to a notification issued by NCCIA general Director Waqaruddin Syed, the committee will be led by a further director, Ayaz Khan, while it will be called by a Deputy Director Akram Mughal.
