Florida Panthers -Wing Brad Marchand created a voting during the team’s eastern conference final matchup against Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday night.
Marchand was discovered in the dressing room during the break after the second period in Game 3 and ate a kind of treat from a spoon. It started an ice cream conundrum around the defending Stanley Cup masters before what could be the crucial game Monday.

The former Boston Bruins star was asked for Panthers’ 6-2 victory if he actually ate a blizzard from Dairy Queen. Panthers turned earlier heads after visiting a dairy queen in North Carolina as they stayed near one while visiting Raleigh for games 1 and 2.
“No chance that you fuel with a blizzard there were you?” Sports network -Reporter Kyle Bukauskas asked Marchand.
“Yes, it’s a little chocolate chip cookie dough blizzard right there,” replied Marchand.
Florida -Head coach Paul Maurice seemed to cast doubt on Marchand’s claim.

“There are cameras everywhere, man. We can’t get rid of anything more,” Maurice said. “But that would be a good story.”
Marchand praised the eatery for his dessert choice.
“You can’t beat it. It’s the best dessert in the world,” Marchand said. “So I should rather have a lifetime free supply of dairy queen now. Thanks, fellas.”
Whether it was a dairy queen Blizzard or not, Panthers has clicked well in the Stanley Cup playoffs and has reminded the NHL as to why they are the defense champions.
Florida has Outscored Carolina 16-4 in the series.
