The paper is the peacock’s follow-up of Hit NBC series The officeA loved sitcom that is one of my regular favorites. This is our first time to dive into this world since 2013 and I am fascinated by seeing how it will play out.
While you are set in the same universe as The officeThe creators have confirmed that The paper is set in a new company and we have moved out of Scranton, Pennsylvania, to a new place.
The office Greg Daniels and Late evening with Conan O’BrienMichael Koman is the ones behind the series, so it looks like it’s in good hands.
With The office Being such a hit and a show I quote daily, it will be interesting to see if The paper can reach the same heights or at least be a very entertaining entry into the mockumentary genre.

PAPRUDING DATE
The paper will only be on the peacock, where the first four episodes fall on September 4th. It will then have a weekly release plan with two episodes arriving until the season finals on September 10th.
So those who want to binge-watch can be disappointed, but it’s definitely nice to have a double bill to enjoy every week after the show’s premiere with four episodes.
The speculation of paper trailers
Right now we don’t have an official trailer to The paperBut we should expect to see it closer to the release date.
When it falls, it is likely that fans will be hopeful that it will match the quality of its predecessor, so the pressure is on for the new peacock show. Only time will show as we haven’t seen any video footage from the show yet.
The paper confirmed role crew
While we don’t have a trailer yet, we know who will be in the role crew and we have a very familiar face that emerges for a new job.
Oscar Nuñez will surprise his role as The office ‘S Oscar Martinez and he is now working in the accounting department at The truth tells.
In a talk about his return at an Nbcuniversal in advance, Nuñez said, “I said to Mr. Greg Daniels that if Oscar came back, he would probably live in a more busy, cosmopolitan city. Greg heard me and he moved Oscar to Toledo, Ohio, who has three times the population of Scranton.
Elsewhere, we have a brand new role crew, including Domhnall Gleeson as a new rent and Sabrina Impacciatore, described as the “no nonsense CEO” by Truth Teller.
The rest of the news room includes Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Ramona Young, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman and Tim Key.
The paper history of synopsis
Confirmed to be put in the same universe as The officeThe same fictional documentary that once filmed the life of Dunder Miffin staff will now set their views on the truth of the truth.
With that in mind, the new series will follow the daily chaos of this fictional newspaper in small town. However, there is a lot of work that needs to be done as the publisher of the paper begins to recruit volunteer journalists to try to keep the presses going. A plot has teased that we should expect “all dysfunction, awkenness and heart” that we saw in The officewhich was to reassure long -term fans.
Will the paper return to season 2?
Right now we have no details of a potential season 2, but if that changes us, we are sure to update you.
For the time being, it is up to the season to make a good first impression, so it is likely that Peacock’s focus lies.
