Paris Hilton is asking fans to be “aware” of “everything that’s going on” among those affected amid the wildfires in Los Angeles.
Taking to Instagram, the hotel heiress, 43, shared a cozy snap of her 2-year-old son Phoenix wrapped in a blanket with two of their puppies.
“Some sleepy Pheeny and puppy shots for your feed,” she said of Phoenix in her caption, which she shares with husband Carter Reum.
She continued, “Through everything going on around us, sometimes we need an adorable reminder to take a mindful moment for ourselves.”
The socialite ended her post with #SlivingMom, a term she coined after combining “kill” and “living.”
Hilton and Reum, who are also parents to one-year-old daughter London, lost their Malibu home in the Los Angeles Palisades Fire.
The mother of two mourned the loss in an Instagram post on Jan. 8, sharing that it was the home where they “built so many precious memories.”
“This is where Phoenix took its first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London,” she added.
“Even when we were evacuated to an airport hotel due to the wildfires, London and Phoenix knew how to make me and Carter smile. So thankful for them,” she wrote on Instagram on Jan. 17, along with a video of the kids in bear jackets.
On Jan. 10, the celebrity DJ announced a major donation to relief funds for families displaced amid the LA wildfires — providing short-term shelter for families and providing supplies to evacuation centers, as well as support for local animal shelters — via her nonprofit organization 11:11 Media Impact .
“I’m starting with a personal contribution of $100,000 and will match additional dollars raised up to $100,000 more. I’m looking for others to donate and match with me to do our part!” she said in an Instagram message to her followers.
“While I have lost my home in Malibu, my thoughts are with the countless families who have lost so much more – their homes, cherished memorials, the communities they loved and their sense of stability. As a mother, I cannot imagine the pain and fear of not having a safe place for your babies,” she wrote.
