Karachi: A Loader truck hit a parked cargo aircraft at Karachis Jinnah International Airport, said airline sources late Friday, forcing the aircraft to be grounded for inspection.

According to the first reports, the aircraft was stationed in the Parking Bay when a loader truck suddenly hit it.

Sources suggest that the accident may be caused by braking failure in the vehicle.

After the collision, the aircraft was immediately grounded while a technical team began to assess the extent of the damage.

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has launched a study of the incident to determine the exact cause and assess any lapse in soil operations.

No damage to the accident was reported.
