Clouds have formed over most parts of Punjab, except Lahore, where dry conditions persist, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reported Monday.
While Lahore’s sky remains clear, road experts predict light rain and possible snowfall in the Rawal Pindi division, Murree and northern regions.
Lahore temperatures are expected to vary between 8 ° C and 24 ° C, while other parts of Punjab may experience a slight decrease in temperature due to increased cloud cover.
Previously, a new weather system entered Punjab, which brought clouds with the possibility of light rain in several districts, including Gujranwala, Rawalpindi and Pothohar division.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), while clouds will continue to cover the region, the rain chances remain low for most areas, including Lahore.
In Lahore, the minimum temperature is registered at 8 degrees Celsius, with a maximum expected to reach 24 degrees Celsius.
The city has experienced a relatively dry and cold spell due to a lack of rainfall, and this trend is expected to continue as experts predict a shorter duration of cold weather this year.
The meteorological department has advised residents to prepare for a cooler day, although the chances of heavy rain are minimal.
