Passenger trains Ticket prices attached to 2%

Pakistan Railways have made a 2% increase in ticket prices in passenger trains, considering an increase in the price of high -speed diesel (HSD). This increase in ticket prices comes into force from today on July 18.

An undated office morandum seen by the Express Pakinomist instructed the director to secure the announcement of the new ticket prices on the PR web site.

The railways have also increased the speed of its freight trains carrying coal by 3%, and the trains carrying rock phosphates and fertilizers by 2%. These hikes are valid from July 21st.
